US equities have put in a couple of very volatile sessions, both of which ended with bulls being victorious in some form or another. This tale is also seen within Crude Oil $CL which had rallied nearly 3.6% in the prior session.
I had expected this selling since late last week where my pivot 4785 held the whole session eventually leading to trade into 4580 , this was compounded by the fact that the consensus was still bullish and buy the dip was trending on twitter.
Enough of this story telling , time to get into what I think happens in the coming session.
$ES has swung quite a large amount in the last two sessions. It dropped just shy of my pivot of 4694 and proceeded to drop nearly 70 points. For the upcoming session I will pay particular interest to 4653 which will be my session pivot 4694 and 4727 are the targets on the upside with downside targets being limited to 4620.
$NQ has put in a large amount of volatility for the first time in a long time. I am always cautious when it comes to trading this. However I have been asked by many followers for my opinions on this and it’s quite simple, I will only trade longs above 15,640 with potential targets being this recent high at around 15,860.
$CL as stated previously has put in a monster move. 80.60 will be my pivot for any movement. This pretty simple as below this we have a region that can ‘fill’ out and therefore it’s a region around where I may attempt longs. Below this I have no levels till around 79.10 which is another region at which I may try longs. You can see both of these levels illustrated on the market profile chart below.
So far I have decided to limit my posting to 3 markets like $NQ $ES $CL. However I am open to adding a fourth like $YM which I do sometimes trade. Hopefully my followers find this useful and can gain and understanding into what goes on in my head.
